Shopify inventory forecasting that keeps you in stock

Stop losing sales to stockouts and cash to overstock. Posto tells you what to reorder and how much, emails the purchase order to your supplier, and works out what each unit really cost. Free for your first supplier.

Reordering shouldn't be a spreadsheet, an inbox, and a guess

You found out the body wash was gone when the support emails started. Or you ordered 800 of the thing that sold 40. Shopify can record a purchase order, but it won't tell you how much to buy, and it doesn't update what a product cost when new stock arrives at a different price.

Posto puts all three in one place: what to buy, the order to send, and what each unit really cost once it arrives. It does that one job well, without the setup or the price of an ERP. Every number shows its math.

Coming from Stocky? Here's how to bring your data

What you get with Posto

Four things that change once your reorders run through Posto.

Your best sellers stay in stock

Every product shows how long its stock will last against how long a new order takes to arrive. Once a few orders have come in, Posto times reorders by each supplier's real delivery history, not their best-case quote.

Less cash tied up in slow stock

Orders are sized to what actually sells. Overstocked products and ones with no recent sales are flagged, so you stop buying more of them.

Orders your suppliers can act on

One order per supplier, rounded to their minimums and case packs, emailed with a clean PDF. Replies come back to your store's inbox.

Margins you can trust

Freight, duty, and fees are spread across each order, and Shopify's cost per item can update when stock arrives. Your margins reflect what every unit really cost, not just what the invoice said.

How Posto works

Posto is a Shopify app for inventory forecasting and purchase orders. It turns your sales history into a reorder plan, then into orders your suppliers can act on.

See what to reorder before it runs out

Posto forecasts from your recent sales, with Black Friday and the holiday peak built in. Days you were sold out don't drag the forecast down. Every quantity shows why, and what you'd lose by waiting.

Turn it into a purchase order and email it from Posto

Posto drafts one order per supplier, already rounded to their minimums and case packs, with your saved costs filled in. Check the email, send it, and the PDF goes along. Replies land in your store's inbox.

Switch from Stocky or a spreadsheet without starting over

Looking for a Stocky alternative? Posto works on any Shopify plan, no POS Pro needed. Bring over suppliers, product costs, and past purchase orders by CSV, from a Stocky export or your own spreadsheet. Stocky's export window closes no earlier than late November, so save your history now.

  • Every row is previewed before it's saved. Unmatched SKUs are reported and skipped, never guessed.
  • Importing never touches Shopify inventory. Orders still on their way can be received in Posto when they arrive.
  • Run it again and records update instead of duplicating.

Why Posto is different

A purchase order records what you decided. Posto helps you decide, and shows its working so you can trust the answer.

Math you can check

Every recommendation shows its working: sales rate, lead time, reorder point, holiday peaks, and the days it left out because you were sold out. Standard inventory math, not AI, and every input is yours to change.

Purchase orders on every plan, even Free

Drafting, emailing, receiving, and landed cost aren't held back for a premium tier. Plans differ only by how many suppliers you order from.

Your bill doesn't grow because your revenue did. Pay monthly through Shopify and cancel anytime, with no contract and no sales call.

Your data is yours to take

Bring in your Stocky files or spreadsheet, and export everything whenever you like, in files you can import back. No more losing years of history when an app goes away.

Simple pricing, sized by your suppliers

Every feature is on every plan, including purchase orders, emailing, and landed cost. The only difference is how many suppliers you order from, never how much you sell.

Read every answer

What does it cost to try Posto?

Nothing. Every store gets 30 days with everything unlocked and no payment details. Choose a plan and it's billed through Shopify, or choose nothing and you move to Free. Going over a limit never deletes anything or upgrades you on its own.

Can I bring my history from Stocky?

Yes. Drop in Stocky's purchase order exports and Posto rebuilds your suppliers, what each one sells with its latest cost, and your order history. Spreadsheets work too. Posto previews everything before it saves, and importing never changes your stock.

How does the forecast actually work?

Posto uses about the last 60 days of your orders, builds in Black Friday and the holiday peak, and leaves out days you were sold out. It's standard inventory math, not AI, and every recommendation shows its breakdown. Forecasts are store-wide, across all your locations.

What does Posto do with my store's data?

It reads products, inventory, locations, and each order's date and quantities, never customer details. It only changes your store when you receive a purchase order, and it deletes your data about 48 hours after you uninstall.

Stop guessing your next reorder
